Lets have some fun this beat is sick

Happy New year! How was yours? Mine I fell asleep because I had to work my new job that day. My day starts at 4 am and I didn't get a chance when I came home to take a nap. We were watching 9 and I fell asleep. I had seen it at the theaters so it wasn't that big of a deal but still I tried to stay awake lol. Hubby was kind enough to let me sleep and wake me up at 11:45. Even tho I fell asleep for an hour it was a lovely new years. My dad came by for a while and we had a ton of snacks. Kids had a great time too.

I am hoping this year will be 100x better then 2009. It seems to be starting out better but we shall see. How cynical right? I try not to be. BTW my Christmas was wonderful! My hubby bought me my much needed wedding ring. Surprised me with it. It is beautiful. I had to go get it resized and when I got it out Thursday I just kept staring at it. It is soooo big. 3/4 ctw. I love it. Of course I got some awesome clothes that i was sooo in desperate need of and The Beatles rockband for our ps3.

My husband truly has been spoiling me lately. Since I started this new (crappy) job he has been amazing. Makes my lunch for work and leaves me little love notes in it every day. Makes dinner for the kids and sooo many other things. The best part is how much he loves me and showers me with hugs and kisses every day. I know barf right? After almost 17 years of being together I have to brag. I mean there isn't a lot of people out there that have been together THAT long that are still in love like we are. I am proud.

Alright I will stop torturing you with all that sappyness. LOL! I took Raven to see New moon AGAIN. Yes WE love twilight. I know I know. I resisted for so long but I must say when the movie was being made I had seen some clips on it and didn't know what it was. I had really wanted to see it. Then I found it was this whole twilight thing and kinda thought oh great! Never mind. Watched it and really really really liked it. Now I am reading the books and they are freakin fabulous. I'm hooked.

I am going to see Sherlock Holmes today with hubby, Daughter 1 and son 2. They are excited. It looks really wonderful. I hope it delivers. I went out last night with hubby and played some Texas hold em. I was doing really good was even in first place then got all my chips taken. In the end I was in 2nd place when I left. To bad it wasn't real money. LOL! I don't think I could play for real money. I don't like to gamble. My cousin and I always said if they made a slot machine that had scrapbook supplies coming out we would soooo be there lol!

I haven't done not one damn crafty thing since I started my job. I am sooo longing to make something beautiful. The kids got me this cool calendar and it has sewing ideas for each day. That is one of my goals for this year at least try to make half of the projects in this cool ass calendar. I m hoping to start on that one tmw. My other goals for 2010 are; 1. count calories...I don't need to lose anymore weight but I am terrified of gaining it back. I figure if I keep track of what I put in my body I will have a greater chance of keeping this weight off. Oh and to date I have lost 190lbs. 2. Get my living room up to par. I want to fix, paint and spruce up that tiny space. It has to get done this time around. It WILL get done this time around damn it! 3. Save up and plan for a trip to Disneyland with family. 4. Show my love to my family more especially my husband. 5. CREATE CREATE CREATE.

What is your goals for this year? How was ur new year? Christmas?

What were all the dreams we shared...

Hello friends. I think my brain is working faster then my fingers. I keep making mistake after mistake. Anywhoo I made a video of me making my tin but I HATE it! I am tempted to make a new one but I don't think I can do a better job so maybe I should just post it in all its ugoness and bad sound. We shall see...

My goal is to get 25 handmade ornaments on my blog and links or tutorials on how to do them. After all this is the season for sharing. Right? I have one felt one almost finished and many many more in the works. For now here are some I actually started before thanksgiving.

This is another tin. I call it Christmas in my pocket. I think this is my new fav thing to make. So fun and easy...says me anyway.

Made this ornament and gave it to my cousin because she really liked it. You can get those little tins at the dollar store. 3 for 1.00 they make great handmade gifts.

I went to the girls night out crop a few Fridays ago and had a wonderful time. Ginger, Diane, Crystal, and Kristi were all there. Woot! Love scrapin with those ladies. It is soo cool when you meet people on the internet become friends and actually get to hang out with them IRL. My cousin and I tried our hand at a jar scene. Holly totally inspired me with hers and just made me want to do it even more. I wanted to light mine up tho and talked to my cousin. She went and bought a glass drill bit and we began on our adventure. It took us FOREVER to drill a hole into the pickle jar. It wouldn't have been so bad if the bit was bigger but it wasn't big enough for the lights to fit in we had to kinda drill the sides until it got bigger. NOT FUN! Here is the finished jar.

Then I made a small one that doesn't light up. I wanted a place for my little dear that has been sitting in my junk for over a year now.

He IS a little creepy but cute. Love it. The next GNO crop is Dec 11th. Come crop with me!

You better wise up.

Yesterday was my sons Birthday. I had an appt so I was gone most of the day. We didn't get very good news so it really put a damper on my whole day...Scratch that, whole year. I went and bought him some cookies for his class and dropped those off and bought some cupcakes for all of us here at home to celebrate. Yes I know *gasp* they weren't homemade! LOL! When you have 4 kids and 3 of them are born around the holidays you tend to slack off a little. I asked my son Aeden (who turned 6 btw) what he wanted for his birthday. He had been telling me months prior that he wanted a bunny with a cage and carrots. Yeah not gonna happen kid. Anyway I asked him yesterday what he wanted and thought for sure I was gonna have to give the whole bunnys need care and we cant afford to feed it right now (and daddy hates animals lol) speech. To my surprise he said "You can get me anyding you want." I said what? Are you sure? He looked up at me and shook his head with all the sincerity in the world. I was sooo shocked that this kid didn't have one thing he totally wanted. I tried to give him suggestions and after running thru a list and him listening he said it again. Gotta love the little things that make your day.

I have so much to do this weekend. Friday is suppose to be my sisters bachelorette party. Sat is my son's birthday party and then Sunday is my Monstrosity class. UGH! So busy. Then next weekend I got a crop on Friday and my sisters rehearsal dinner on sat. Busy busy. Not to mention things that need to get done at my house for guests that are coming to visit. My husband just ripped out part of the carpet in our office because bad kittens have been peeing on the side of it. We were going to rip it out anyway but just never got around to it. We have lovely (ok not so lovely) hardwood floors underneath.

I have kittens running around EVERYWHERE I soooo need to give them a good home. Sadly one has bad back legs and can't walk around very well. He is gonna have to stay with me. I know no one will take him and I don't want to put him down just because his legs are bad. He is my Tiny Tim.

On to some scrappyness. I made a few projects for Dia De Los Muertos and I really love the little altered tin. I think it is one of my fav things I have made in a while. I am going to post a tutorial hopefully around mondayish. We shall see.

These skulls were made from dollar store plastic skulls. It was actually my husbands idea.

Oh and Mojo went up! Loved this prompt. I think Melissa came up with it. She is wicked cool. Did you know Mojo has been around for over 2 years now? Yep! Here is my take on the challenge.

I need to take a new pic because it is hard to see the details and I re-sized it pretty small. Boo. The girls did a fab job on this prompt. You have to check out all they did and play along.

I have so much stuff I need to share. I am trying to do the make something everyday thing that Julie is talking about. I mean it cant hurt right? I skipped yesterday tho. I hopefully can get back on track today. Want to make some stuff for my etsy and hopefully make a few extra bucks lol! We shall see.

Halloween was a hoot. We went to a fab haunted house and my lil ones screamed their little hearts out. I didn't think we were going to get thru it. I had to drag them. They wanted to go. I think next year they will think twice. Of course after they were home it was all talk about how cool it was and blah blah. It really was cool and they do it every year. No charge! I wish I was able to put one on. My husband and I live for that kind of stuff. Ah well someday. I posted some pics on my facebook. Here are a few of my favs.

Till next time my friends.

They do the mash, it was the monster mash.

Man I have been an updating fool lately. It is all because of facebook. Instead of watching tv I am on this damn puter and to pass the time while waiting for my garden to grow or my food to cook or someone to rob/kill I create and or post blog msgs lol! I have many a scary movie to watch tho so this may have to wait.

On to the Halloween goodies that I said I would post. This one is a super easy and quick banner I made. Just newspaper and c.s. Great recycle project and it looks fab. Love it! (pay no attention to the ugo mantel and paint job...It is currently under construction lol!)

Then I made these other Halloween decos. I was so inspired by Tara Anderson yet again and made this Halloween door hanger.

It made the catwalk over on sis...Yay me!

I kept thinking I REALLY need to use up my Halloween stuff because I know if it sits here I wont use it next year. I decided to make anything and everything I could think of...Here are those things.

For you door knob.

I made an extra one for a special friend.

Just lil things to put on your mantel or shelf.

An atc.

A special Halloween page for scrapjacked.

I loved the girls photos on there so I decided I need a costume photo too. Hence the devil girl pics. I think they turned out pretty ok. My hubs sure liked them lol!

I have soooo much Halloween paper left. Time is running out. Once Halloween is over I am one of those ones who does not scrap it. Only 4 more days till Halloween!!!! Not even enough time to do what I should. Ah well.

Went to the pumpkin patch yesterday. So much fun! I will share pics soon. Oh and my OLW page made the favs. I am so totally bummed they are shutting down. Didn't see that one by a mile. Boowhoo!

I will be making time for the Girls Night Out crop on nov 13Th so if you can join me let me know! I would love to scrap with ya!

♥♥♥

P.S. For those of you who care or believe...Pls keep our family in prayer. Husband is still without a job and Unemployment has run out. We are hoping for that 13 week extension to be passed. Thanks!

Pack the moon with coffin, eyes so crazy for the dead.

I went to see Paranormal Activity last night. I was sooo wanting this one to be super good...Nope! I mean in no way was it bad but it wasn't as scary as EVERYONE had hyped it to be. Oh well. I don't regret seeing it of course because you know me and horror I will watch ANYTHING and enjoy it. The best part was I was with hubby and we had a very nice date night. The worst part was all the freakin idiots who were in the theater. I hate when ppl talk thru the damn movie. Someone brought their baby! Who does that? I mean when I had like a 2 year old I didn't bring them to the theater unless it was a kid show and that was one time and I LEARNED my lesson. But to a adult movie? Come on! The movie had a few funny parts in it and a few "make ya jump" parts. Every girl in the theater screamed (except me of course)and some screamed even when something small happened. Light weights! LOL! Anyway my vent/review is over lol!

I was over on sis the other day and seen Tara Anderson is sponsoring a challenge. I really love vintage things as u may know and the challenge was to use vintage stuff. YAY! Not to mention the prize is sweet!

I want it ever so much. I HAD to make something special for it. I have been wanting to make a wall hanging out of a old book now for ohhh maybe 2 years but just never wanted to spend the cash on the old book. I finally broke down and got one just for this occasion. As I was rummaging through things I found some old photos. I wanted to take them all home with me but couldn't of course. I kept going back to one photo and holding it and wondering what his name was, who his family was and how THEY could ever give up such a precious photo. I was reeled in, had to take it home. I wondered to myself what I would do with it. I paid for my purchase and went on my merry way.

When I got to the crop (had a wonderful time with Kristi, cousin, and Beth)I was soooo not feeling any sorta creative juices sooo i stared at my book and all the vintage bits that I managed to shove in my bag at the last min. Nope. I decided to wait till I got home to figure that one out. I pulled out the photo and still my heart wouldn't let go. We all started talking about these photos and old books. One of the ladies that I crop with Cheri said she had a bunch of old books and she would bring them to me because she was just going to throw them out. YAY! She also told me she already threw away a bunch of old pictures because she didn't know who in her family they were....WHAT??? I know you cant hold on to EVERYTHING but I don't have any cool old pics and if I did I would surely hold on to them. But we are all different.

Anyway I did work on the little project at home and I kept wondering what I was going to do with the little pic...As i started to make the wall hanging it slowly turned into a scrapbook about the pics that I will soon rescue and the one I had already.

Wonderful! I just love the idea and I love that now my little boy has a home.

I also love the fact that the book came with a big DISCARD stamped on the front page. I just had to add my little 2 cents to it.

As for the books, Cheri brought me 3 of them and they are sooooo wonderful. When I seen them my heart skipped a beat. No joke! I LOVE vintage stuff and these are to die for.

Don't you agree?!? She is a wonderful lady and I so thank her for these! She says she will bring me more she just has to go through them. She has boxes. eeekk!

Ok so I know I said I would post my Halloween stuff but this post is long so I will do that in a few days. I am sure most of you have seen most of it but there is a few things I haven't posted on the boards yet that I will post here first. Gotta give something fresh on here right? LOL! Happy fall my lovelies!

I have no wallet, I keep my cards together with a blue rubberband.

I guess yesterday the craft bug finally crawled up my butt because I have been creating and haven't stopped. I made a TON of Halloween stuff. I will share those soon. I wanted to make sure I got this one posted on time for once. I have played the last 3 times and each time I forget to post my creation. Boy I made this one just by the hair of my chiny chin chin.

Used the new sass for this. Man is that the best co ever? I think so.

And this one I just made because I was trying to use my new stuff from sb.com...

My hubby was making her let me take the pic of her. Playing of course.

Cropin tmw with my cousin, Kristi and Beth. Should be a great time. There is a few spots left if anyone wants to join us. I really need to get what I am going to work on ready because if I dont I will sit there and talk the whole time and not do a damn thing.

Ohhh my kittens are getting so big. Anyone want one? Come on they are soooo cute. See...

Hehehe. Those little buggers are quick so it was hard to get a good pic of them. This one is mine and his name is either Charlie or Edward. I have 2 girl kitties named Bella and Lola. So both those names go with them lol. Kittens kittens everywhere!

On the cooking front hubs and I made a most delish stew. We used gravey packs to make it a nice thick one. MMMMMMMMM! Then my daughter Aria and I made Halloween Cinamon rolls.

She enjoyed herself.

Then we watched Hocus Pocus and It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. Man I love those movies. Sadly I havent seen any new scary movies as of yet T but I will be sure to report them when I do. T is my scary movie buddy.

We had a wonderful storm here the other day. Now it is gone and I am left with sun and warm weather yet again. BOOOO! LOL! It would be nice if it was at least 60 ish outside. Not 80! Oh well. Since there are many many pudles I decided it's time to pack in the flip flops and bust out the polka dotted Vans. Ahhh yes fall is here.

Last but not least over the weekend Beth did this wicked cool ZombieLand app on facebook and I HAD to copy her. Hehehehe I love it! Thanks Beth!

Next friday pumpkin patch! YAY! Halloween is fast approaching.

I can't seem to face up to the facts.

I have a few things I need to share. I will be cropping over here at my LSS on Friday the 16TH. She is having a crop till you drop on that Friday and Saturday. I can't make sat because it is my sisters bridal shower but I will be closing the place on Friday. Who wants to come and crop with me? No one? Aww come on lol!

The other thing is I have a class on Oct. 25TH (Home) it is 15.00 and everything is included except glue and cutting tools. Here is the example. It is called a triptych.

It makes a great christmas gift. Of course what says I love you more then a handmade gift anyway?! If you want to sign up let me know or if you want a kit let me know too. I can work something out for ya.

One more class I have in store. We are making 4 pages with the monstrosity line. Here they are.

20.00 on Nov 8th.
We didnt go to the pumpkin patch but we do have tickets and will be going soon. Can't wait. I am hoping to try the zip line. EEEKKK! Love it!

I ♥ this time of year soooo much. I mean I think I say that to you all every year but seriously I love horror movies and this is like a dream month for me. So far I have watched ZombieLand-freakin awesome! Loved every min of it. Trick R Treat-pretty good I wasnt expecting it to be as good as it was. Last but not least The Hills Run Red- again another that I thought was gonna be cheese but I was suprised. If you are a horror movie fan I suggest you check them all out. If you are not but like horror/humor then you def must go see ZombieLand.

I would have seen more things but I have become like the countless million and became addicted to Facebook. I know most of you are saying where have u been? I just didnt want to give into the status quo but I eventually did and I wish I woulda done it earlier lol! I am more addicted to the games then anything. BLAH!

So no scrappyness to share really. I mean since facebook I havent done a damn thing. You would think between waiting for stuff to cook on cafeworld and killing people on mafia wars I would get something done...NOPE! A whole lot of nothing.

Yesterday was my mama's bday. Happy bday mama. The kids made a birthday song video for her. I was still in my jammies and had no makeup on so I wont share it with ya. LOL!

I am starting a accountability post on facebook. We are gonna have to account for our food for the day and share it with others who are on the post. If you want to get in on this let me know. I know I want to lose about 10 pounds more and or at least keep off what I have lost. I think this will help out a lot.
