Well I am feeling a little better. I have been losing weight again. 72 pounds so far. I have been going on walks twice a night. Once with the kids and once when hubs gets home from school. My little one grabbed a big leaf off the ground and was carrying it around. I asked him what he was going to do with it and he said he was going to take it home and jump on it so he could hear it crunch. I thought that was so cute. He did just that too. Once we hit the porch he put it down ever so gently and then jumped up in the air and landed on the leaf. He did that about 10 times till it crunched never more! HAHAHA! Silly boy.

I have almost all my stuff for the magazine done. Did I mention they are looking for talent to publish? Come on girls submit! I haven't seen any of you do it yet. I know I have a talented bunch of online friends so get on it! Make sure to put Marie Ramirez somewhere on there when you do. You have till NOV 1ST.

OHHOHOHOHOH I'm so excited Dina's class started today! YAY! I just gotta go get some gesso so I can do my "Homework". If I had that kind of homework in school I would been a straight A student hehe! Seriously all she is freakin talented beyond words. If you are taking the class let me know! Then we can sit together *wink*.

I posted the new Mojo challenge. I made something kind of weird. It is a diorama and on the sheet music is typed the legend of Bloody Mary. She was a witch that was stealing the little girls youth to make her look young again. They ended up hanging her and she cursed anyone who said her name in a dark mirror. That was one of my childhood legends/ghost stories that I was scared of. I never would say it and even to this day I wont. I don't scare easily believe me but that is some stuff you just don't mess with lol!




I bought those tiny lights at big lots one year. I didn't know what I was going to use them for but I knew it had something to do with scrappin. I also used the maya roads tin for the case. I don't think it is done yet but we will see.

TIP: For the tree I first painted it purple then let it dry. After it was dry I used ordinary white glue painted that on and then immediately painted over that with black. That's what gives it the crackle effect. CHEAP and EASY! Learned that in my crafting days for furniture and picture frames. The reason why it looks white on the trunk is i also used diamond glaze over that and it wasn't dry when I took the pic...

Ok last but not least my scary movie list.Here are the movies I have been watching this October.Based on 0-5 stars.

The cradle- Scare~ story~*
This movie was weird and well weird. If you have nothing else to watch then watch it.

Reeker- Scare~* Story~** 1/2
Now remember it takes a lot to scare me. The story was very interesting. I really liked the end. Worth watching.

Mortuary- Scare~** Story~***
I liked the story. Very different. I would watch it again.

Dark Ride- Scare~* 1/2 Story~**
The end was weird and lame. The rest was ok.

The ROOST- Scare~* Story~*
OK This was pretty lame. Not a big fan of this one. It is about bats...Yeah cgi bats.

Dead Birds- Scare~** Story~***
I really liked this movie. I would watch it again. Very very interesting and creepy. The end was pretty cool. Western setting back in the civil war era.

Wind Chill- Scare~** Story~***
This was a cool concept. In fact I haven't seen it done like this before. Really liked the story.

The Strangers- Scare~*** Story~***
I loved this movie. Something about reality scares the SH*& out of me! The people in this movie were messed up! Mental torture. Seriously a good movie.

Dead One- Scare~1/2 Story~**
This has Wilbur valderama in it. Neat story but it wasn't a strong scary movie for me. Worth watching tho if you like day of the dead stories.

Brutal- Scare~* Story~**
This one was interesting. Little cheese but interesting.

The fog- Scare~** Story~***
Again I loved this movie. It was pretty neat. The end was sooo wrong!

SAW 4- Scare~* Story~**
I like these movies for the gore factor and the genius torture devices. I mean come on you gotta hand it to the creator of these things!

I know I have watched more but I forgot to write the names down. I have a ton on my dvr to watch so there will be more. Oh yes there will be lol!

I also watched other movies this weekend. Don't mess with the Zohan...FUNNY! Lake View Terrace- AWESOME! Loved this movie. Iron Man- Ok I'm sure you all have seen it but it was wicked great! I hope they do another one. I have Love Guru waiting, Run Fat Boy Run, forgetting Sarah Marshall, Grace is gone and What happens IN Vegas...Oh did I mention I seen Baby's mama? OMG that was sooo good. Ok enough with the movies lol!

Jane says have you seen my wig around?

So I am finally gonna blog my RVK creations. I just haven't been feeling like blogging. That roller coaster is still going strong. BLAH! Oh well on with life. Here is what I did with the fab kit Rachel put together. Did I mention I ♥ her? Well I do. hehehe!




I have tons of pics of the banner on my Flickr if you want to see close ups and what not. I love the skull beads and the plastic Halloween rings I used on the tail.


Me and my cousin Lisa (who passed away about 6 years ago) on Halloween. Another one of my mom's awesome handmade costumes for me (belly dancer). Lisa is wonder woman. My mom is holding the camera in the background. I actually remember that costume.


My son and daughter hiding in the small pantry cabinet. So silly! It was a huge pic but i cut the bottom part off.


This is me about 2ish. I'm sure you all have seen one of these pics. I think I am gonna give this one to my mom.


This page has me my dad and my two cousins. I don't have many pics of my dad and I together. He was and is one of those dads that comes around (if your lucky) once a year. I'm not bitter... LOL!

We went to the pumpkin patch on fri. It was good fun I must say. My calves still hurt from all the walking. Stupid camera battery went dead half way thru the day. GRRRR! Oh well such is life I guess. We walked thru the pumpkin maze and made it to the end. I made the kids do a silly pose.


I love that pic. While walking along we seen some fungus growing on the corn. They use it in some Mexican dishes. I hear it tastes like corn...Go figure.

We shot pumpkins out of a "gun". Kids really enjoyed that.


Went through the haunted house. That was really cool. My two sons were scared (4 and 8) but my daughters loved it (6 and 12) hehehe! We went through about 4 times.


We went on a hay ride and a train ride around the grounds and through the corn. That's when I didn't have my camera. I posted some of the pics on flickr but I haven't finished editing them yet so more to come.

Halloween is only 15 days away! I'm watching tons of scary movies and next time I post I'll give you some reviews on them. Have a great roller coaster ride!

Anyway the new Mojo is up. My page I threw together real quick like. I made it with the RVK I just got on sat.

That is me at about 4. My mom made that Halloween costume. She made a lot of my costumes. Most kids probably woulda hated that but not me...It is a memory that i hold near to my heart. I wish I had every one of those costumes. Although the face paint is a little weird! Who ever seen a red faced clown? lmao!

I made a Halloween banner last night with the kit and another page. I should be done with everything by tmw. Theresa has her stuff done and Jen. I posted both their works. Lovely lovely stuff.

Going to the pumpkin patch on fri with the kids and Crystal (cousin) and her gang. Haunted house and corn maze here we come! I hope it isn't to hot. BLAH! Ginger yes the one off I-5. :)

You really got a hold on me.

I have been meaning to blog for the past few days but I just didn't have any work to share. I always like to throw in a page here and there. Oh and it was a insane week. I swear do you ever feel you can live a lifetime in a matter of hours? Days? That is how I felt this week. Not a good week. I just have to hold on to the hope that it gets better and not worse.

On a happy note I did end up going down to Oakdale on Fri to crop with my cousin. We were gonna go to Suzy's in Fremont but somehow we decided gas and my car leaking wasn't a good idea to drive that far. We had a good time. I do miss the girls up there but I'll catch them next time hopefully. My cousin and I laughed our asses off and the owner was a sweetie. There was one older woman there that got 15 pages done! WTF?!? We called her the Paginator (like terminator)! Usually at crops I get maybe one page done sometimes not even finished. Fri I got 3, yes 3, pages done! WOW! I was really feeling blah about my work lately. UGH! But these came out ok. I hate feeling stale.

My uncle, his mom, and his grandmother. I stole this from cousin. She was gonna scrap it and couldn't find paper she wanted to use. I took it and put it under that frame and it went perfectly! Sorry cousin! But I told her she could have the page after I took my pics. I was at a loss for the title and man you should have heard us making up crap. Seriously we were cracking up but I don't think I should repeat what they were lol! Let's just say her grandmother wasn't a very nice lady mmkay?

Oh played poker with hubs and his cousin last night and I freakin wiped the floor with them. Hehehehe! I was short stacked about 3 hands into the game and somehow came out on top?!? Love Texas hold'em...when I win anyway lol! My hubby usually plows right over me (I think he was being nice). My son wanted to play with daddy so I was the dealer. Shoulda got pics...What was I thinking?

Kids have 2 weeks off and we are gonna go to the pumpkin patch! YAY! They have a corn maze, haunted house, train ride and pumpkins too! haha! I better get some good ass pics dang it. Of course I'll share.

I had a wonderful day with the kiddos yesterday. We went to the circus. I'll tell you all about it in a few days. I'm still editing the pics. Oh and I have some exciting news to share on sat! YAY!

Blood and tears

This is for Dina, Kenner Road and my lovely friend Kerry Lynn...We moved around a lot (when I was a kid) and I cant say it was a great thing. I didn't like any city I lived in really. Tough growing up making friends and then leaving. Being a new kid sucks. So the only street I can say I grew up on is Tina Ln...That was my grandma's street. She was the only constant I had. I was over her house everyday practically. Her house and that street was my wonderland.
