There Aint No Rest For The Wicked

First let me say I did a blog post over at the BG blog. Inspired by kitsch and collages, I made this.

Used one of those big ol bottle caps and my fav paper ever! Melody Ross flocked GCD. YUM! Seriously reminds me of my grandma. Love it! Oh and that new wood paper from CI. You can use a punch on it! Fabulous.

Oh no! More then a week has gone by since I last posted! What?!?! Life seems to get away from me. Goes to fast. In the week that has passed by I had a birthday. I am not *GULP* 33 years old. Oh sheesh. I hate being in my 30's I wanna be in my 20's forever. I had a pretty nice birthday. I did have to work but other then that it was really lovely. My hubby always goes out of his way to make me feel special. Not only did he buy me a happy birthday outfit and a kick ass printer but he managed to buy me things I didn't even know I wanted. LOL!

Just one of the beautiful Orchids my hubs has bought me. I ♥ them soo very much.

So sweet.

Have I told you how much I love my iPhone? Ok I am sure I have but seriously love that thing. It sadly has kept me from reading my book at work. I know the love will soon dwindle and I will be back to my old routine.

Haven't seen any good movies lately. It seems we have been so busy. Doing what I have no clue but I am sure it was something cool. ;)

Spring has really come at me full force. It is my very Fav season. Everything is beautiful the sun shines but there is lovely breezes. My favorite part is the flowers that start to peak their head out of the soil.

One of my beautiful tulips outside my door.

I have created some craftyness for spring. That will show up here soon.

I have to catch you all up on my things I have made.

Made this with the JB kit. My son Aeden at the park on Valentines day.

This one made the catwalk. My hubby and I taking silly photo booth pics. The envie is for his little love notes he writes me.

This one I used the Kenner Road kit. Hubs and I. I love taking pics with him.

Man I didn't realize I haven't shared many creations here. I usually post them all on facebook since it is soo easy.

I have SO much to play with. As I type I have the new Kenner Road kit and my very first BG kit! Oh so beautiful. I also have some new lovely fabric to play with. Now the mojo just needs to start coming to me. We shall see.

Today is my daughter Aria's birthday! She is 8 and her party is going to be tmw. She wants pizza no matter how much I wish she would've picked bbq we are having pizza ha! Busy weekend ahead. I hope you all stay safe and make something beautiful!

Some more. Yes please, some more.

Last Thursday I posted a blog post over at the Bad Girls blog with some inspiring garland. I found many that were lovely and want to make them all. The first one tho that I tried my hand at was this one.

So being the crafty person I THINK I am I googled origami butterflies and found the one shown in the pic above. Got out my trusty book that I tear pages out of and went to work. Here is my finished product.

Those butterflies are really simple to make. If you want to try your hand at one here is the video I used to make them.

After you make 10 or so you string them on some string of choice...I used fishing line and cut some lovely fabric for the bows. Viola done! So pretty, simple, and cheap! :)

If you make any let me know I would love to see where you put it.

Went croppin with Diane and Ginger in Berkley at Scrapbook Territory fri night. Man that store is beautiful! I mean they had almost everything you could want. It was huge! We stopped in at Anthropology. WOW! I have never been in there and I was instantly in love. Beautiful things everywhere. If I had a million dollars my house would so look like that store. HA!

I took pics with my phone.

Ahhh so lovely!

Last but not least I scrapped. Here are those pages.

This one I made for the sketch I created just for Bad girls. Pls come and play along with me! It is my daughter Aria eatin ice cream at the park.

This one I did last night. Been wanting to use fabric on my pages lately. I really like the colors of this. Its my sister and I after we went and saw Alice.

Me and my iPhone pic. Made this one using the Kenner Road kit. I do dream sometimes a little to much. Maybe.

Now I want to make something lovely. Like a wall hanging or something. Spring is popin its head in here and there and it's really put me in the mood to get my house in order and make it look beautiful. Not to mention the anthro store really made me want to make things look lovely. I'm torn on my wall color again. Part of me just thinks maybe I should keep them white. But another part of me wants them the red. AGH! Decisions. I love the look of all white with accents. I am really into the whole vintage shabby chic feel of things. *sigh* My living room is small and I have kids...Hmmph well I will think on it.

What color is your living room?

Off with your head!

This week/weekend has been simply action packed. Went to see Alice In Wonderland at 12:01 am friday. I went with my hubby, my sister and her hubby. She dressed up like Alice and he as the mad hatter.

The movie was AMAZING. As you may or may not know I am a huge Burton fan. Love EVERYTHING he does and this has to be one of his best. I truly was drooling over every inch of that film. We got to see it in Imax 3-d...mad it even better. I highly recommend this movie.

I also went out with my hubby and his friend from way back in the day. We got together a few weeks ago for some drinks and good times. Then we invited them back for free pizza and karaoke night at Fats. Had a great time. He brought his wife and we sat back and watched the boys sing. We called them the Ron and Mark show. Took a few pics with my iPhone.

Oh don't think I mentioned that I got a new iPhone did I? Well I did and I love it! I freakin never thought I would ♥ a cell phone but I really do this one. Look at this cool free app I found. Its called Retro Camera and I took this pic and edited on my phone.

That is only one of the many things you can do with that app.

I also created a few things.

I made this page reflecting on my life and what I always say to my cousin. Our day will come. Someday.

This is my uncle and Aunt. Love this pic of them back in the day. Love those wood grain papers. I printed out the kitschy digital kits at costco and used it as 12x12 paper.

I made this using the last of my Jan Kenner Road kit. My hubby and I. Loved that kit and now I have the feb kit to play with. Already have 2 pages made.

This one is aeden and his cute little boots. I used the Jenni Bowlin kit for this one. Misted the CS with the bg lace paper. Love that! I think it needs a little more but it turned out ok.

I made these actually through out the month but I just haven't been able to share them here. So many things to share so little room lol!

Last but not least we are doing a create each day post over on the bad girls blog. It is a post to help you get inspired and create. My posts are on Thursdays. Here is what I shared. Garlands...They are beautiful and there is so many things you can do with them.

I am in the process of making my own garlands. Check out the post I did and the post the girls have done through out the week. Lots of inspiration being posted over there! I will also do a tutorial on my garland hopefully by the weekend. Check back in for that.

I can not wait for the first kit to be played with. I am soooo excited. I know that Wendy has some beautiful things coming so keep an eye out for that!

Whew! This post is getting long. I hope your week was wonderful and the next week to come is just as wonderful if not more.

The new Mojo is up one of my fav prompts. The freakin prize is amazing. Pls come and play! Show your love. That is my take on the challenge. Inside the envie is little quotes from the movie that pertain to my life.

Hubby and I went and saw the crazies. Pretty good. Not scary of course but pretty good. We just bought our tickets to go see the midnight showing of Alice In Wonderland. I can't wait! Imax and 3d *sigh*. Anyone else excited?
