Like those soft little secrets that you tell to yourself.

Happy {i}NSD!!!! What are you doing? What did you do? I want to see some craftyness ladies! I was thinking of going to Oakdale to get my scrap on with my cousin but we ended up not going. I just get so lazy on weekends anymore. Oh well I can get my scrap on at home. Wish my cousin lived closer tho. Love to bitch and laugh with her.

I must make some stuff today. I mean it would be like a travesty if I didn't right? Seeing as its NSD and all. I will start as soon as this blog post is done.

I have made a few things here and there. This rag wreath is one.

I made it for my door using vintage fabric and a old wire hanger.

I also made a coffee filter light globe. I have no where to put it tho. I can't find the perfect spot. My house is sooooo small. Oh well I am sure it will find a home or get tore up lol! I am thinking the entry way. That is my next home improvement project as soon as the living room is fin. I have a few things in mind for that tiny place. Already have my light switch cover from anthro. When I took off my old one tho it was a big ugly hole and now I have to patch it. Just one more thing I can learn how to do on the internet. Hehehe!
(Pics will come soon.)

I am thinking of painting the tile black and white checkers. I can't really afford to replace them so that's the next best thing. Slap on a coat of paint (not sure what color yet) (really wanna do something with chalk board paint tho) and paint the door robin egg blueish and viola think that will be done. Then on to the rest of the house. Kitchen really needs some tlc. I think that will be a huge project and will be loooooooooooooooong! Need new cabinets, the whole shebang.

Living room is coming together. I have my frame wall up.

I stare at it through out the day and think "do I want that one here or there." I don't know that it will "officially" be done but that's ok. Think I need a coffee table and a area rug.

Thinking of painting the tv stand. Its black. Has glass doors that we took off because the ps3 gets to hot. I asked hubby to take off the back so we can use the doors again and I am thinking fabric curtains in the doors so you cant see all the dvds and electronics. Not sure if I should paint it white or turquoise. Hmmmmmm. Thinking turquoise.

Bought some pillows and am gonna doctor them up. Need a few more tho. I am still working on the wall above the big couch. It just seems so bare. Not sure what to do with it but I'll figure out something.

I bought this bench at Beverlys and painted it white.

Put some kitschy stuff on it and call it done. I wish it woulda been a old garden bench a little bit bigger but this will do till I find one *wink*.

Enough with the home improvement talk it is time to get my craft on! Stay tuned for the Kenner Road blog. I have a tutorial coming up on how to make stamped candles.

Oh and come play with us over at Mojo. My page I made for the challenge.

(used part of the Kenner Road April kit for this)

The blue flower is from Daniela's shop The Art Life and I made those pink fabric flowers for the second part of the challenge. Speaking of fabric flowers here are a few I made that would make good mom day presents.

and the link to the tutorial on how to make them! :)

Mama's day is coming up and every time someone says how creative I am I cant help but be grateful for my mom. She is why I am so crafty. My fondest memories of my childhood is her showing me how to embroider or us going shopping for ceramics to paint. Thanks mom!

Do you hear me talking to you...

I have some superb scrappy news to share with you all. It is long over due. I shoulda posted this a week ago but have been busy...Yada, yada, yada. Anyway I am the April guest designer for Kenner road! My very fav kit club as you may know. I was so super excited when Kerry asked me to guest for her. When I that kit came in the mail and I opened it, my heart skipped a beat. No lie! It it soooo wicked awesome. She sent me EVERYTHING! I have so much more to make with this it isn't even funny. I will show you what I have so far.

Made these sweet little coasters for my house. I bought the backs at the dollar tree and covered them with the paper in the kit. Then of course you will want to seal them. Viola. Custom coasters.

I stamped with glimmer mist on this one. Very fun. Looks like a water color.

This is a door plaque. I also used The Art Life flowers on this. Aren't they beautiful! I adore them and they are hella affordable. Check out Daniela's shop.

So that is what I have had time to make so far. I do have a few more things started so come back for those soon.

My living room is shaping up. Not quite what I want yet but it is getting there. Here are some more peeks.

The 19th was hubby and my 17 year (been together) anniversary. We had a beautiful day. We went and watched Death At A Funeral. Funny! I am amazed at how much we adore and love each other after all these years. He is my everything. He basically took me on a shopping spree-ish lol! Look what I got.

I loves it. I think I may need to paint it white tho just so it will match all that much better. That means taking off the crystals though. Eeeek we shall see.

I have some fun salvage finds. I really ♥ salvage. It just makes my home feel more homey. Did that make sense? Ha! Oh well.

That is what I have been up to. How bout you?

Our bodies get bigger but our hearts get torn up.

I was waiting to do a blog post with my creations from BG but it will have to be minus the creations. It has been to long since I posted anything soo I am breaking down and doing it without.

I sooo need to clean my desk. I just posted a pic on FB of the mess and well I got a few ppl that really gave it to me lol! At least it isn't dirt or anything. Just craft stuff thrown around. I cant help it. I try to be organized but I am sooo not. Especially when I have deadlines.

How was your Easter? It rained here! Booo on the rain. I do love rain but not on my parade dang it! The kids had to hunt eggs in the house. Not as fun as in our huge backyard. Oh well. The food was yummy. Hubby bbq'ed under the patio. Mmmmm.

I painted my living room. All finished. Well almost. Adding things here and there. Here are some peeks.

I know its dark but it is a peek. LOL! See my couch? I wanted white but they didn't have them so I got Turquoise. I will eventually get white tho.

My Easter display. That is a dvd cabinet I painted and added the wood applique things. His dad had them in the garage and I thought how lovely they would be on my ugo furniture lol! I am just waiting for my mercury glass knobs to finish it off.

Another pic of the display. Love me some salvage. I have that piece and 2 on my fireplace and one that will go on my other end table. Soon I will share all those too.

They had this lovely salvage corbel I want sooo bad but it is huge! I am talking gigantic! I dont know where I would put it. I really really want it tho. Maybe mothers day? LOL! First need to find a place for it.

OMG let me tell you it has been a fight in a half to keep my kids hands off the walls! Not to mention they broke only my very fav pot the other day. Now I know why I never fix my house up. I do this every few years. I hate looking at a ugly house so I decide I'm gonna try to fix it up. Then my kids prove to me that I am not meant to have anything nice! LOL! So frustrating. I am determined to keep this living room beautiful tho. It just makes me so happy to be in it. *sigh*

Now to do the rest of this house. The outside is soo in need of a paint job. Oh did I tell you. I HATE painting? Sucks but I must say the results are worth it. My kitchen needs a total re haul and I need to add another room on this tiny itty bitty house. Dreams dreams dreams. So many big plans. So little money ha!

Ok on to scrappyness. I have some oh so lovely news to share. I am guesting some beautiful lovely place. I cant tell you for where or who yet but I will soon let you all in. Soooooo super excited. Also I got a email from a lovely friend who wants me to use her beautiful products! More about that soon!

I will leave you with this little sign I made. Just something I threw together.

Love those canvas refill pages from prima and their packaging lol!

Oh one more thing. New mojo is up! The inspo is lovely and the prize package is yummy yummy yummy! Come check it out and play along!

There Aint No Rest For The Wicked

First let me say I did a blog post over at the BG blog. Inspired by kitsch and collages, I made this.

Used one of those big ol bottle caps and my fav paper ever! Melody Ross flocked GCD. YUM! Seriously reminds me of my grandma. Love it! Oh and that new wood paper from CI. You can use a punch on it! Fabulous.

Oh no! More then a week has gone by since I last posted! What?!?! Life seems to get away from me. Goes to fast. In the week that has passed by I had a birthday. I am not *GULP* 33 years old. Oh sheesh. I hate being in my 30's I wanna be in my 20's forever. I had a pretty nice birthday. I did have to work but other then that it was really lovely. My hubby always goes out of his way to make me feel special. Not only did he buy me a happy birthday outfit and a kick ass printer but he managed to buy me things I didn't even know I wanted. LOL!

Just one of the beautiful Orchids my hubs has bought me. I ♥ them soo very much.

So sweet.

Have I told you how much I love my iPhone? Ok I am sure I have but seriously love that thing. It sadly has kept me from reading my book at work. I know the love will soon dwindle and I will be back to my old routine.

Haven't seen any good movies lately. It seems we have been so busy. Doing what I have no clue but I am sure it was something cool. ;)

Spring has really come at me full force. It is my very Fav season. Everything is beautiful the sun shines but there is lovely breezes. My favorite part is the flowers that start to peak their head out of the soil.

One of my beautiful tulips outside my door.

I have created some craftyness for spring. That will show up here soon.

I have to catch you all up on my things I have made.

Made this with the JB kit. My son Aeden at the park on Valentines day.

This one made the catwalk. My hubby and I taking silly photo booth pics. The envie is for his little love notes he writes me.

This one I used the Kenner Road kit. Hubs and I. I love taking pics with him.

Man I didn't realize I haven't shared many creations here. I usually post them all on facebook since it is soo easy.

I have SO much to play with. As I type I have the new Kenner Road kit and my very first BG kit! Oh so beautiful. I also have some new lovely fabric to play with. Now the mojo just needs to start coming to me. We shall see.

Today is my daughter Aria's birthday! She is 8 and her party is going to be tmw. She wants pizza no matter how much I wish she would've picked bbq we are having pizza ha! Busy weekend ahead. I hope you all stay safe and make something beautiful!

Some more. Yes please, some more.

Last Thursday I posted a blog post over at the Bad Girls blog with some inspiring garland. I found many that were lovely and want to make them all. The first one tho that I tried my hand at was this one.

So being the crafty person I THINK I am I googled origami butterflies and found the one shown in the pic above. Got out my trusty book that I tear pages out of and went to work. Here is my finished product.

Those butterflies are really simple to make. If you want to try your hand at one here is the video I used to make them.

After you make 10 or so you string them on some string of choice...I used fishing line and cut some lovely fabric for the bows. Viola done! So pretty, simple, and cheap! :)

If you make any let me know I would love to see where you put it.

Went croppin with Diane and Ginger in Berkley at Scrapbook Territory fri night. Man that store is beautiful! I mean they had almost everything you could want. It was huge! We stopped in at Anthropology. WOW! I have never been in there and I was instantly in love. Beautiful things everywhere. If I had a million dollars my house would so look like that store. HA!

I took pics with my phone.

Ahhh so lovely!

Last but not least I scrapped. Here are those pages.

This one I made for the sketch I created just for Bad girls. Pls come and play along with me! It is my daughter Aria eatin ice cream at the park.

This one I did last night. Been wanting to use fabric on my pages lately. I really like the colors of this. Its my sister and I after we went and saw Alice.

Me and my iPhone pic. Made this one using the Kenner Road kit. I do dream sometimes a little to much. Maybe.

Now I want to make something lovely. Like a wall hanging or something. Spring is popin its head in here and there and it's really put me in the mood to get my house in order and make it look beautiful. Not to mention the anthro store really made me want to make things look lovely. I'm torn on my wall color again. Part of me just thinks maybe I should keep them white. But another part of me wants them the red. AGH! Decisions. I love the look of all white with accents. I am really into the whole vintage shabby chic feel of things. *sigh* My living room is small and I have kids...Hmmph well I will think on it.

What color is your living room?

Off with your head!

This week/weekend has been simply action packed. Went to see Alice In Wonderland at 12:01 am friday. I went with my hubby, my sister and her hubby. She dressed up like Alice and he as the mad hatter.

The movie was AMAZING. As you may or may not know I am a huge Burton fan. Love EVERYTHING he does and this has to be one of his best. I truly was drooling over every inch of that film. We got to see it in Imax 3-d...mad it even better. I highly recommend this movie.

I also went out with my hubby and his friend from way back in the day. We got together a few weeks ago for some drinks and good times. Then we invited them back for free pizza and karaoke night at Fats. Had a great time. He brought his wife and we sat back and watched the boys sing. We called them the Ron and Mark show. Took a few pics with my iPhone.

Oh don't think I mentioned that I got a new iPhone did I? Well I did and I love it! I freakin never thought I would ♥ a cell phone but I really do this one. Look at this cool free app I found. Its called Retro Camera and I took this pic and edited on my phone.

That is only one of the many things you can do with that app.

I also created a few things.

I made this page reflecting on my life and what I always say to my cousin. Our day will come. Someday.

This is my uncle and Aunt. Love this pic of them back in the day. Love those wood grain papers. I printed out the kitschy digital kits at costco and used it as 12x12 paper.

I made this using the last of my Jan Kenner Road kit. My hubby and I. Loved that kit and now I have the feb kit to play with. Already have 2 pages made.

This one is aeden and his cute little boots. I used the Jenni Bowlin kit for this one. Misted the CS with the bg lace paper. Love that! I think it needs a little more but it turned out ok.

I made these actually through out the month but I just haven't been able to share them here. So many things to share so little room lol!

Last but not least we are doing a create each day post over on the bad girls blog. It is a post to help you get inspired and create. My posts are on Thursdays. Here is what I shared. Garlands...They are beautiful and there is so many things you can do with them.

I am in the process of making my own garlands. Check out the post I did and the post the girls have done through out the week. Lots of inspiration being posted over there! I will also do a tutorial on my garland hopefully by the weekend. Check back in for that.

I can not wait for the first kit to be played with. I am soooo excited. I know that Wendy has some beautiful things coming so keep an eye out for that!

Whew! This post is getting long. I hope your week was wonderful and the next week to come is just as wonderful if not more.

The new Mojo is up one of my fav prompts. The freakin prize is amazing. Pls come and play! Show your love. That is my take on the challenge. Inside the envie is little quotes from the movie that pertain to my life.

Hubby and I went and saw the crazies. Pretty good. Not scary of course but pretty good. We just bought our tickets to go see the midnight showing of Alice In Wonderland. I can't wait! Imax and 3d *sigh*. Anyone else excited?
