Keep your eyes open.

First some super happy cool news!

I am now a part of the design team for Pretty Little Studio. I really enjoy their stuff and only just recently found them. Super cute!! You really need to check them out. I cant wait to play with their products and work with such talented ladies.

Lots of pages to share.

Love this pic of my friend Kristi and I. This was NSD last year. We had a great time and look super hot in this photo. LOL!

This page is of my grandma and cousin. I really adore this photo. I love taking pics of my grandma. She is the sweetest lady.

Lastly this page I made of our fairy and big people bow and arrow making. The kids enjoyed them for a few hours. I like how this page came out. All the pages were done using the June Studio Calico kit.

Now on to our weekend. We did the national camp out in your backyard day. We do it every year.
The kids enjoy them selves so much.

Rowan help put up the tent this year. We made smores and told ghost stories. In the morning the kids played pranks on the person who was still asleep....Wrote on the other ones face.

All in all it was pretty fun. This is one tradition we will continue with for many years to come!

With a good heart

Another day...Life passes ya by so quickly. I have been trying to create something EVERYDAY. So far it has been working. I don't have to finish or post them. Just make. I think it has kept my creativity fresh. It also helps to get happy mail every once in a while! Ha!

I made this page using the So cal kit from Studio Calico. I love this shot of my sister, mom, and grandma. Sitting on my couch on one of our many get togethers.

Another shot of Santa Cruz. I have many. You all know this. I cant get enough. I am hopping I get to go this year again. Sadly I am missing out on the lost boys movie on the beach. AGH!!! Super sad.

Me. A family friend took this one of me. I was snapping away with my camera and she with hers. I love that i totally didn't know she was taking it. Used the So cal kit for this one too.

We just did our annual Camp in your back yard day. Kids always have a great time. I think it is because they get to roast things on the fire. LOL! Pictures to come soon!

I am off to scrap with the girls! YAY! Can't wait.

A camping we will go!

I had the honor of guest designing for the beautiful and lovely Veronica at Shabby Chic crafts. She sent me so many awesome tags to play with. The ones that I HAD to play with right away were the camping ones. I mean I just did the camp in the backyard, they were perfect for that!

I first made a page using my smores pictures. I loved putting all the marshmallows in my vintage pyrex bowl. Had to take a pic. The other pic is my work of art. It took me a while to make that smore. Not a huge fan of them and that one was the first one I have ever had. My kids love them tho.

I had sooooooooo many photos of our camping trip I decided to make a mini. I wanted to use mostly the awesome tags with accents of paper here or there. I hope I achieved that.

I used a lot of GCD and of course a ton of tags from Shabby Chic crafts. Make sure to go check out her store and leave me some love on the blog post here and there! *smile*

Hello mother, hello father

June 25th was national camp out in your backyard day. Did you? This is our 2nd year participating. Last year the kids had such a good time I HAD to do it again. This year was even better then last. Could've been because we had the pool or maybe just the excitement that the kids had this year made it better.

We set up the tent, pumped our mattress, and got all the blankets and pillows from the house.

I got all the food ready for our backyard fire pit. Hot dogs and chips of course!

Roasting hot dogs is ONE of their fav parts.

Then we got ready for the tastiest part...

Yummy ooooey goooey s'mores!

We had HUGE marshmallows as you can see.

I made my first s'mores. It was pretty good but not as tasty as everyone makes them out to be. One was way more then enough for me.

The kids of course had to have a few.

Towards the time to pack it in we all shared ghost stories around the campfire.

I don't think there was one thing they didn't like about this day. They wanted to keep the tent up all summer if they could. Wonderful memorable time. Hope you join us next year!
