Wouldn't it be nice

Hello friends! Have a little bit of stuff to share with you. This page I made with the dear Lizzy line for A million Memories. I love this pic of my mom and Aria.

Santa Cruz CA. This was the only reason I agreed to go on the stupid Ferris wheel. To get some awesome pics. I hate them. They scare the crap out of me. I love scary rides but for some reason this one freaks me out. It isn't suppose to be scary, I know. It feels like there isn't enough straps or surroundings or something! LOL! Anyway I got some great pics none the less.

Today is Friday the 13 Th. Let me tell you I really thought yesterday should've been and let me explain why. Started out at 11 am in a town I was born in. A man held up in his home shot 2 people through the door and killed them. One deputy and one locksmith. It was still going on around 11 pm last night. Last I seen there was a fire in the house he was in. Crazy. There was also a shooting in Sacramento 2 injured and that one ended up with the guy getting killed. Stockton had a tornado warning and it hailed like crazy. Oh and I got in a 3 car accident on the freeway. Nice right? Yeah. A dude in a small car (honda maybe) raced around to pass me. Got in the slow lane where there was another car about a car length head of me. Swerved back into my lane. Almost hit me but didn't. He over corrected hit her, fishtailed, side swiped my drivers side. I tried to avoid his spinning car, went off the road into a chain link fence. Knocked down 5 of the poles before I came to a stop. The whole time I was hitting the poles I was thinking "I am going to die". Oh the joys of having to commute to work. I am a little sore but my van still is running and got me home. I honestly felt like the guy should've been dead and I should have been majorly hurt. But we weren't. For that I know I had angels around me. (I wish I wouldn't have been so upset and thought to take a pic of the fence!)I am thankful its not worse. So that is my not so fun adventure. I don't believe Friday the 13Th is a unlucky day...But Thursday the 12Th I am not so sure about! *wink*

There's a fire burning in my heart

Rowan found a cloud heart in the sky and I had to take a pic of it. Isn't it beautiful!? I love it.

Posts are getting stretched farther apart a little. This month has been super lazy. Now I am sick. Boo! I guess not working and sitting at home really drains the life out of you. I need a job. I mean I thought I would never say that. Something needs to happen anyway.

Had a wonderful weekend tho. My sister in law moved back from Mississippi so we planned a little get together for her on Sunday.


Hubby made some awesome Mexican food. That I didn't get a full picture of.


There were taquitos, enchilada casserole, rice, beans, Mexican corn, salsa and chips.


Towards the end hubby brought out his guitar and fun was had. Just all around lovely day.

I made up my own recipe for her. Big Cherry Cupcakes. I wanted them to taste like a big cherry candy. It did. I would post the recipe but I wasn't in love with the cake. Back to the drawing board with that one. Everyone really loved them and they didn't last till the end of the day but again I just wasn't happy with the cake. Stay tuned for the recipe soon.

BTW the candy stand or cupcake stand I got from the thrift store. I love the thrift store. I have found some awesome stuff there. I will share more of that stuff soon too.

I also have made a few cookies and cupcakes I will share in posts to come. :)

I am in love with pinterest. It is such a time sucker but I love it so. I get all my recipes and inspo from there. Namely this sewn crepe paper streamer idea. LOVE IT! Super easy to make too! I pinned it so if you wanna know how then go follow me on pinterest. hehehe!

Who do you think you are

I have to say my mantel has sat untouched since I cleared off all the valentines day stuff. I actually have been making pages instead of crafting for the mantel. I DO however have a few ideas. I will be working on those soon.

As I said I have been making pages a lot. Here are a few of those pages.
I made this one for the challenge over at Lilybee designs. Used Domestic Bliss. My crafty space. Why is it after you take a pic you notice things. Like the letters are weird. I fixed them but didnt fix the photo. Just know space is a little closer. *wink*


I also used Domestic bliss for this page. Love Lilybee designs. I only recently discovered them. I was out of the loop for a bit. Me being silly last year at lunch with the hubs.


Used sass Paper Crush. I really love that line. Me and hubby this year on valentines day.

This month is jammed packed with stuff and I have a feeling it is going to go by super fast. I got my extern site. I only have a few more weeks left of school and then I get pushed out of the nest...and work for free for 215 hours! Ha!

I am a little freaked out and I hope it goes well. I also have sealants on saturday. I'm a little nervous. Wish me luck on that one.

I'm setting goals for myself. I really need to be more organized. Stop living by the motto "put off today what I could do tmw." Need a new motto like "get it done early and all will be right with the world." haha!

One more sleeps till Christmas eve! Oh my. I do have 11 days off of school and I have OH so much to do.

    I have been feeling so springy lately. Spring is my most fav time of year. I love spring. Planting flowers, the muted colors, the weather. It always makes me feel happy when spring rolls around. I cant wait to take down my Christmas stuff and prepare for spring. On that note here are a few more Christmas shots of my house.
    
    

I managed to make ONE Christmas ornament. I swear I am going to do like a 12 days of Christmas ornaments on this blog someday...Think I will have to set that up through out the year...Yeah that's the ticket! HEHE! Anyway the one I did manage to make I love!

I made these for my teachers. I love them. They are super easy to make.



I was a little worried my teachers wouldn't love them as much as I do. I think they liked them almost as much.

My fake plastic love

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF FALL!

Last weekend ended up making these freakin awesome cookies.


They are one of the BEST peanut butter cookies ever! Yum.



Went to see "Devil" Sunday with my hubby. I was really expecting it to be bad. I didn't want to waste the tickets on it really. I mean the preview looked really good but so many movies have disappointed me lately. I am so glad we did go. It was really good. Not my typical horror movie. I really enjoyed it tho. I don't like elevators and this elevator made me wanna hyperventilate lol! Oh and I will never get in a nbr 6 elevator again. Just FYI.

I started a new MOD last Monday. This mod is the longest and it is a lot of hands on lab work. I have learned how to do a Rubber Dam, Calcium Hydroxide cavity prep,& Toffelmeyer matrix band. All interesting but a little hard. Good challenge.

I finished some Halloween fun stuff.

Now I just need the time to make them.

Taught the girls how to "sew" this weekend. We made voodoo dolls. Very fun. They really had a good time creating. I was not feeling great at the time but they really wanted to learn. Here are our finished products.

My son's and my little girl want me to teach them now. It was hard enough teaching the 14 yr olds! LOL! I am not sure if I will be conquering that with the lil ones.



Think I am gonna have to find a different Halloween goodie to make with them.

Last but not least I think I will be making this sweet lil one soon. How cute is he or she!


I really love Halloween. I love fall. I am going to start decorating today. When do you start?
